Fair use and privacy

Create freely, create kindly

Dream Canvas is free for everyone. These simple guidelines keep it safe, fast and fair, and explain exactly what happens to your words and images.

What you can create

Almost anything you can imagine: artwork, illustrations, wallpapers, concept sketches, social posts, invitations and gifts. Experiment, play and make something you love.

What is not allowed

  • Sexual or sexually suggestive content of anyone, real or imagined.
  • Anything that sexualizes, endangers or exploits children in any way.
  • Graphic violence, gore or self-harm.
  • Images meant to harass, bully, threaten or humiliate a person.
  • Realistic fakes of real people made to deceive, embarrass or damage their reputation.
  • Content that promotes hate, terrorism or illegal activity.
  • Copying someone else's artwork, logo or trademark in a way that infringes their rights.

Automatic safety filter

Every request passes through an automatic filter that blocks sexual and violent content. If a harmless idea gets blocked by mistake, try describing it in a different way.

Fair daily limits

To keep the generator free and quick for everyone, each visitor can create up to 80 images a day and 8 images a minute. Limits reset on their own, so if you reach one, just come back a little later.

Your privacy

To create your picture, your prompt and settings are sent to our AI image partner, Pollinations, which generates the image and sends it straight back.

We don't ask for your name or email, and we don't save your prompts or images on our servers. Your creations are stored only in your own browser on this device, until you delete them or clear your browser data.

Using your images

You're welcome to download, share and use the images you create. AI images can sometimes resemble existing work, so check that your use respects other people's rights, and be open about AI involvement where it matters, for example in news, reviews or anything presented as a real photo.
